{"id":3977,"date":"2020-06-23T20:34:19","date_gmt":"2020-06-23T18:34:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wohnbau-weilheim.de\/?page_id=3977"},"modified":"2024-06-25T09:32:10","modified_gmt":"2024-06-25T07:32:10","slug":"fakten-leitbild","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wohnbau-weilheim.de\/en\/u%cc%88ber-uns\/fakten-leitbild\/","title":{"rendered":"Fakten &#038; Leitbild"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Wohnbau Weilheim &#8211; the housing creator<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<br class=\"clear\" br=\"\">\n\n\n\n<br class=\"clear\" br=\"\">\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>foundation<\/strong><br>In February 1949, the <em>\u2018Zweckverband f\u00fcr sozialen Wohnungsbau im Landkreis Weilheim\u2019 (Association for Social Housing in the District of Weilheim) <\/em>was founded in response to the severe housing shortage following the Second World War.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Until 1965, 27 of the district\u2019s municipalities belonged to the Association. However, since apartments were not built in all of the member municipalities, the Association transformed into the <em>\u2018Gemeinn\u00fctzige Wohnbau GmbH Weilheim\u2019<\/em> in 1965. Since then, members have included seven municipalities from the former administrative district of Weilheim and the district itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">After the need for public housing was abolished in 1990, the company rebranded to become <em>\u2018Wohnbau GmbH Weilheim i.OB \u2013 Gesellschaft f\u00fcr sozialen Wohnungsbau\u2019.<\/em> Since then, the company has been registered under this name in the Munich Commercial Register under HR B 41449 with a limited company share capital of \u20ac1,022,583.80.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<br class=\"clear\" br=\"\">\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>75 years of Wohnbau Weilheim<\/strong><br>Wohnbau Weilheim celebrated its 75-year anniversary in 2024. He has sole right of representation both internally and externally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<br class=\"clear\" br=\"\">\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>corporate purpose<\/strong><br>The company was founded to ensure safe and socially responsible housing for broad sections of the population. To this end, the company builds, maintains and manages all types of residential and agricultural buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<br class=\"clear\" br=\"\">\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>portfolio<\/strong><br>As of 31 december 2023, Wohnbau GmbH Weilheim in Oberbayern manages around 1,677 of its own rental apartments.&nbsp;You can find our residential complexes <a href=\"https:\/\/wohnbau-weilheim.de\/ueber-uns\/wohnanlagen\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<br class=\"clear\" br=\"\">\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>publicly funded<br><\/strong>Low-interest loans and grants are awarded by the public authorities when building subsidised apartments in order to lower building costs and ensure affordable rental rates. These properties are known as \u201csocial housing\u201d, \u201csubsidised apartments\u201d or \u201caffordable housing\u201d.<br>If the public loan is paid back on a residential building the rental restrictions no longer apply. These \u201cprivately financed apartments\u201d can then be privately let at usual market rates without having to factor in income limits &#8211; a path which Wohnbau Weilheim consciously does not take. We also rent out these private apartments at rates lower than the usual market standard.<br>As of 31 december 2023, 630 of our apartments were \u201c<em>publicly subsidised<\/em>\u201d (strict allocation criteria, certificate of eligibility to public housing (\u2018Wohnberechtigungsschein\u2019) and 1,047 were \u201c<em>privately financed<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<br class=\"clear\" br=\"\">\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>allocation<\/strong><br>The allocation of our apartments is described in detail <a href=\"https:\/\/wohnbau-weilheim.de\/kontakt\/wohnungssuche\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<br class=\"clear\" br=\"\">\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>employees<\/strong><br>Wohnbau GmbH Weilheim in Oberbayern currently has 23 employees (included the managing director).
